The John Curtin Weekend (JCW) is one of the largest community project organised by LEC. Students are invited to be part of the project as volunteers, travelling to 6 different rural communities in Sarawak, Malaysia, to help out those who are in need by carrying out community service projects. Past experiences agreed that the experience offered by JCW is incomparable to any other voluntary projects done in Curtin as you will not only be able to carry out community works but you are also able to create awareness to the communities & learn different cultures in Sarawak. Interested students who wish to volunteer during JCW are to email email@example.com for further information regarding application and registration.
This year, JCW will be on September 25-27, 2015 and October 9-11, 2015. We’ll keep you informed with the location details. Stay tuned!
